OUR BETTY OF THE WEEK IS LINDSAY LOWE!
Our Betty of the Week is Lindsay Lowe, aka @yolindsaylowe! Lindsay is the founder of @platinumandcompany. She is an honorary Betty because she and I have been in a @highperformancesalon Mastermind together every week for the last 8 months. She has helped @urbanbettysalon in a ton of ways without even knowing just by sharing her own stories. Thank you, Lindsay, for the love and inspiration.
Fun facts about Lindsay:
✨ When and where did you graduate from?
I graduated from the American Academy of Hair Design in beautiful Manhattan, KS, in 2006. It is now called Bellus Academy.
✨ What did you want to be when you grew up?
I actually had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up, but I knew having fun would be at the top of the list for sure! I was really great at twisting my hair up into a glorious updo with butterfly clips in high school, so it’s safe to say the seed was being planted then. When I started working as a receptionist at Crimpers Hair Studio in 2004, I knew I had met “my people,” and I headed off to cosmetology school shortly after that!
✨ Where are you from?
I am from Riley, Kansas. It’s a charming little town of about 1,400 people. If you need a little more excitement, you could head to “town” just 20 minutes down the road to Manhattan, which is where I now reside.
✨ What do you like to do?
My awesome hubby and I are dipping our toes into some new property investment & renovation projects. When we’re not tackling a fun new project, I make the occasional debut on my 11-year-old daughter Ella’s TikTok, get endless entertainment from my 6-year-old daughter Lucca, and snuggle my sweet 1-year-old son Bodie until he just can’t.
✨ What are your strengths?
My strengths are in leadership, love, and light! I love helping people see the endless possibilities in their own lives and creating new ones for me, my family, and anyone looking for more!
