Things to remember:
– Extensions should be moved up every 4-8 weeks to prevent matting.

– We highly recommend pre-booking to ensure an appointment with your chosen stylist within the appropriate time frame.

– Any issues with the extension installation will need to be addressed within seven (7) days of installation. Anything past
this timeframe is considered regular maintenance and will be charged accordingly.

– Extension hair should last 6-12 months, but this depends on you! Once you purchase the hair, you are responsible for caring for your extensions. Improper care can result in a much shorter life span for your hair.

*Having extensions is a lot of fun and can transform your hair! Please note that extensions require regular maintenance and your stylist will help guide you to ensure satisfaction and proper maintenance.

– Wash sparingly (1-2x week); be prepared to spend more time washing, drying and styling your hair.
We recommend sectioning out your hair and double shampooing to ensure a clean scalp and to make
sure no build up gets stuck in the point if attachment on your extensions.
– FULLY dry the root and point of attachment of your extensions! You can air dry the ends as long as you are not sleeping on them wet.
– Sleep in a braid or low bun.
– Use professional, sulfate-free products and use minimal products at the scalp to avoid product build-up.
– Use low heat hot tools and heat protectant, avoiding the point of attachments (especially with K-Tips and Tape-Ins).
– Brush your hair at least 2x a day (more is better!) to ensure no matting occurs. Hold from the point of attachment and gently brush through with a boar bristle brush.
– Oil your mids and ends, avoiding the root and point of attachment.

– Wash everyday or scrub aggressively. Avoid flipping hair upside down.
– Change your color drastically – extensions may be toned but cannot be lightened.
– Swim. Tie your hair up, put it in a swim cap, or coat it in a mask if you must swim. Chlorine and natural water both can tangle and dry out your extension hair. Once out of the water, wash your hair ASAP.
– Do not use nonprofessional products between appointments – invest in your hair care!

– Get sunscreen on your extensions (particularly blonde) this can cause them to turn pink and/or orange. Avoid sunscreens with Avobenzine.
– Sleep with wet hair.
