Kellie started at our flagship 38th Urban Betty location in December 2016. She began by working at our front desk while she finished cosmetology school. Kellie graduated from The Avenue Five Institute in June 2017.
Kellie knew she wanted a career doing something artistic and was leaning towards becoming an interior designer until the end of her senior year in high school. Kellie then had her heart set on becoming a hairstylist! She toured the cosmetology school every year for six years until she could finally attend!
Kellie grew up in a southwest suburb of Chicago (Tinley Park, IL) and has four brothers! She loves to catch live music, go to throwback emo nights hosted around town, take her dog to dog parks, travel, and camp.
Building genuine relationships with her clients is one of her favorite parts of being a hairstylist. Kellie worked next door to Urban Betty at the coffee shop for four years and got to know most UB stylists before she even got into cosmetology school!
