OUR BETTY OF THE WEEK IS KIM OVERTON!
Kim Overton, aka @KimjOverton, is our Betty of the Week. Kim is the founder of @spibelt, and we met in the Entrepreneur’s Organization (@entrepreneursorg) in the Spring of 2019 and quickly became fast friends.
Here are some fun facts about Kim:
✨When and where did you graduate from?
I attended ACC and NYU but left before graduating to pursue a career in music and entrepreneurship.
✨What did you want to be when you grew up?
A singer and dancer. 💃
✨Where are you from?
Austin, Texas!
✨What do you like to do outside of work?
I love spending time by the water, and I mostly enjoy downtime at the lake with my family.
✨If you could be a superhero, what would your special power be?
To fly! I’d love to fly.
✨Any side hustles or other accounts that you are a part of and would like for me to include.
No time for a side hustle! Within SPIbelt we have a new product launching in 4-5 months that feels like a new gig, but it’s under the SPI umbrella. I’m excited about sharing it soon!

I rented a motorcycle in France in 2001 and drove it along the Mediterranean Sea on my own before GPS apps on phones existed using a paper map. I stopped at castles along the way and felt like Joan of Arc at times. It was amazing!
