Monica grew up in Northern California and moved to Austin, Texas, in 2003. She married her high school sweetheart, and together they have four children.

Monica always strives to expand her knowledge in hairstyling and particularly enjoys creating balayage highlights. She loves this technique for its ability to deliver a natural, sun-kissed, perfect year-round look. She’s passionate about staying up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques. Her goal is to make your hair look beautiful and ensure you feel comfortable, cared for, and welcomed at the salon. Monica believes in the transformative power of a great hairstyle and takes pride in helping her clients express their individuality through their hair.

When she’s not working, Monica loves spending time with her family, attending music events, decorating her home, planning gatherings, or relaxing with a margarita in the backyard. She’s also a fan of true crime shows and enjoys listening to all types of music. Monica finds inspiration in connecting with others and cherishes the opportunity to help her clients look and feel their absolute best. She is also an advocate for work-life balance and believes in the importance of creating meaningful memories with loved ones. Whether it’s experimenting with new recipes or exploring Austin, Monica approaches life with creativity and enthusiasm.
