Dakoda is a hairstylist at Urban Betty Salon specializing in extensions, blonding, vivid colors, and customized transformations. She loves a challenge and takes pride in creating beautiful, long-lasting blowouts and hair plans tailored to each client’s goals.

Before becoming a hairstylist, Dakoda spent 4 years in fine dining management as an AGM, helping open two restaurants from the ground up. Her background in luxury hospitality taught her the importance of detail, personalized service, and making every guest feel taken care of. She loves bringing that same experience into the salon while getting to connect with people on a more personal level.

Her love for hair started during her own emo phase, when she was constantly cutting, coloring, and experimenting with her hair. After trying just about every style imaginable, Dakoda developed a passion for helping others navigate their own hair transformations. She loves creating realistic, long-term hair plans while keeping the health and integrity of the hair in mind.

Born and raised in College Station, Dakoda graduated from Charles & Sue’s School of Hair Design and chose Urban Betty because of founder Chelle Neff’s inspiring vision of an inclusive, empowering salon. She loves bringing hair science and technology into the conversation in a way that feels casual, fun, and easy to understand. She’s especially passionate about helping clients understand their hair and choosing the right products for their individual needs, not just selling them products, but teaching them why they work.

Outside the salon, Dakoda enjoys live music, PC gaming, cooking, trying new restaurants, and considers herself a serious foodie. Her goal is for every client to leave feeling like they received the full experience, from consultation and education to their final gorgeous finish.
