✨When did you start at UB, or when did we meet?
I started at Urban Betty in April 2022. I moved back to Texas from Chicago specifically to work at UB! I had achieved many career dreams in Illinois. I worked my way to the top in an Aveda salon, ran my salon business/suite, and traveled all over Chicago as a brand ambassador for Amika. I wasn’t done yet—I had to work at THE top salon in Austin, my Texas dream salon 🤍
✨When and where did you graduate from?
I graduated from The Aveda Institute of Austin in 2012.
✨What did you want to be when you grew up?
I never knew what I wanted to be. I attended Lonestar Community College of Kingwood & Austin Community College for general studies. I sat at a desk, miserable and bored, knowing I’m a talker who can’t sit still. I only liked science and art—get me out of here, lol. Turns out there’s a school for that! Cosmetology 🤍 My artsy, creative, science brain can run free, and I can laugh and talk all day long without getting in trouble for it like in school 😂✏️🎨
✨Where are you from?
I was born in Arkansas and moved to Kingwood, Texas when I was 4.
✨What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to play my banjo and attend music lessons & banjo camps. I also love to fish and hunt, eat crawfish, and travel.
✨If you could be a superhero, what would your superpower be?
I’m going invisible, for sure. I have too much luggage to carry, so flying powers wouldn’t work for me.
