We checked in with our beauty experts and the results are in! 2026 trends are off to a hot start and we wanted to give you a sneak peek of what to expect this year. Trends come in waves, some longer and some shorter, so you may recognize some of these carrying over from last year. We’ve noticed one pretty strong general theme which is nostalgia is steering the ship (and not just in the beauty industry). The 90’s and 2000’s have had a full resurgence and we are living for every bit of it. Here’s what’s in our lookbook:
Quick and easy upstyles.
Effortless, cool, chic, who doesn’t want to have their look described as these things? With a few simple steps, you can easily find yourself with the skillset to take your day 3 hair and whip up a style that will stand out at the office and accompany you straight to after work plans. Messy buns, loose strands, tendrils, basically bed head with a little style and grace(and don’t forget those accessories)
Hair accessories.
We referenced hair accessories and yes they are also still at the forefront of our current trendsetters. Accessories allow you to effortlessly add some small details that show off your personal expression and creativity. Bobby pins, banana clips, barrettes, scrunchies, butterfly clips, head bands, we hope you held onto that box of goodies you left behind at your parents house!
2000’s warm, dirty blondes.
That’s right you heard us, warm blondes. Somewhere along the line, warm blondes got shunned by society and it was strictly about cool, bright, or ashy blondes. Orange and yellow became a blonde’s worst fear and whether it existed in your hair or not, you were scared of it. Well what goes around comes around, and warm blondes are back! Golden and copper are the graceful synonyms you can swap out if it makes you feel better. But there’s a good chance at some point this year you’ll be asking your stylist if you can experiment with something on the “warmer side”
Baby bangs..real baby bangs.
We’re sorry to be the ones to break it to you, but your eyebrow length bangs are NOT babybangs. You’re not quite as bold and experimental as you maybe thought you were…but that’s okay it’s not too late! Baby bangs can be more diverse than you think too. Punky, soft, chunky, blunt, wispy, sideswept. I can talk about baby bang options all day long. A lot of guests get stuck in the idea that baby bangs are an edgy or aggressive look., and to that I simply say go and Google Audrey Hepburn…
All in all, 2026 is going to be a fun year for hair. Individuality, confidence, and a little nostalgia are all you need to elevate your styles to new heights. Don’t be afraid to explore and experiment! And If confused at all by this roadmap to what’s hot this year, the simplest recommendation is to head home, watch the 90’s all time classic Clueless, take some notes, and thank us later.
