ABI RAE DIAZ

Abi Rae is a hairstylist at Urban Betty Salon on 38th St, known for her creativity, warm personality, and passion for helping people feel confident through beautiful hair. Originally from Carrizo Springs, a small town on the South Texas border, Abi has always been inspired by artistic expression. From cheerleading to theater and dance, her favorite part was always helping friends get ready—doing their hair and makeup before performances and seeing the joy it brought them. That spark eventually led her to a career in hairstyling.

Abi graduated from Paul Mitchell the School in Austin in March 2024 and also holds an Associate degree in General Studies from Southwest Texas College. Her education provided a strong foundation in both classic and modern techniques, and she continues to refine her skills with every client in the chair.

Specializing in long layered haircuts, dimensional blondes, balayage, and custom highlights, Abi loves creating looks that enhance her clients’ natural beauty and reflect their style.
