The beauty industry is in my blood. My grandmother was a salon owner + hairstylist, and I grew up surrounded by women taking care of each other’s hair, skin, and nails. I never imagined I’d be a salon owner + aesthetician someday. I originally wanted to be a plastic surgeon and perform facial reconstructive surgeries after traumatic accidents and such. I suffered a traumatic brain injury myself at age 18, which changed the course of my life… for the better, no doubt, but it took a while to get to that point. That injury caused me to have severe acne and skin sensitivities for years, and my search for someone to help me solve those problems led me down the path to becoming an aesthetician. In the long run, I’m grateful for that accident and all the pain and suffering that came with it because it has allowed me to connect with people, with clients, in a way I wouldn’t have been able to otherwise. I genuinely understand the insecurities and struggles surrounding skin issues – no matter the complaint – and I deeply value the opportunity to help change them.

✨What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a dancer and a singer when I grew up until I realized that would require me to perform in front of crowds of other people. 🙈 I was always pretty shy, and I still don’t enjoy being the center of attention. As I continued to grow, I realized that my real joy came in helping others and being creative. Whether it was creating beautiful spaces, cooking delicious meals, or helping someone achieve a goal… I wanted to be someone who helped people feel good and loved.

✨What do you like to do outside of work?

I love to do SO many things outside of work! The list is long. But my most recent obsession since the onset of the pandemic has been my garden. My goal is to create a mystical, magical secret garden in my backyard for my husband and our 3 rescue pups to enjoy.
